You will not be disappointed then. Just uh... Don't make fun of his name. He doesn't like when people do that. They usually learn quick not to.

This character seems a bit two-dimensional. One dimension being that he's a big dude who fights stuff, and the second dimension being his juxtapositional name.
I mean no offence, but to me it seems like you just took the stereotypical "non-evil" orc character and slapped a quirky name on top. He seems more fitting for a joke character, thrown into games or movies just for the hell of it.
I have no idea what you intention with the name was, but I feel like it'd only offer a very thin layer of whatever you were expecting. If you were looking to create RP, it'd be very shallow RP. If you were looking to add depth to your character, it doesn't really.

Maybe this is just me, though. Don't take it personally.

Also, this might be nitpicking, but "heavy armor" as a skill doesn't make much sense outside of the video game world, unless you're talking about something like repairing it.

Not all characters have to be super-deep. And who knows, maybe there's more to this orc than meets the eye.

...Which brings me to my own issue with this. The biography. You could at least try to describe who this guy is, instead of this page just being you asking permission to play a 7-foot orc. Anyone can type up height, weight, and a list of items.

I have a view similar to Mack's on this one, but I'm generally a Serious Samuel when it comes to character ICness, so I'm probably not the person to give an opinion on this character.

We understand that he's the hugest guy we're ever going to see, he has great hygiene and health, flawless body structure, no impairing injuries, he stands two feet over the next guy who wants to fight him, he carries a weapon bigger than the guys who wants to fight him, and he's also had experience with using a Bow and Arrow, which takes time and training on its own. He's a war machine, and could cause quite a stir.

That's not a -bad- thing, that's what some characters are.

He doesn't have much depth, but he might not need to. I'm just hoping you understand the character enough on your end to roleplay him to his fullest. A character doesn't need to have a lot of depth, but the person playing him needs to understand the depth of his position in greater scenarios.

I share a concern similar to Munroe, but perhaps less so. It seems if you're getting an Orc-kin, (I'm not a scholar of their lore, but I'm working on it) this would be a tough, but not over-the-top Orc-kin. I would like to see in his bio however, how he builds up the skills he has. Building huge mass, training with both melee weapons and the use of the bow, getting his hands on full armor and wearing it into battle. But, that's just my interest in the character.

My other point of mention is that I would be willing to let him keep Heavy Armor as a skill. As from my time with some SCA kids at my college, you can really tell who is skilled in wearing Heavy Armor, and who isn't. Some of those guys do long distance runs with their full plate, and I've seen a dude (not personally) do cartwheels in it. Just saying, you can be skilled in Heavy Armor. Not that we need to rewrite anything as to how the server works now, just saying, if he wants to say its a skill he has; I'd say let him keep it.

I'll be short. I would really consider a new name for your character (your last name is fine). Simply as, it's just a little too out of place for what we're trying to do here. As for your skills and the like, a small little blurb on each would go a long way for us trying to approve your character. It doesn't have to be long, it doesn't have to be fancy. I know that some people don't like character pages and I don't want anyone to ever feel beholden to them, but it's a necessary evil in this case as we would just like to know the extent of your character's abilities. A note or two would be enough.

On your biography you don't need to be the next shakespeare. Even a short paragraph would do fine. How did he get to Estavyr? Did the roads give him trouble? How was home like? Things like these paint a good picture of your character and go a long way for first impressions and might just clear up some suspicions other members might be having.

The page says "Backstory Pending" for a reason. I haven't had time to type that up, or finalize the character. I appreciate the constructive criticisms, however.

As for if the character is super unique, he's just a stupid Orc. I didn't imagine making him some hero to save the world, or some poor sap that's a sob story.

I apologize as well. The way the bio was worded made it seem like you didn't intend to continue it. Plus it was late and I wasn't paying good enough attention. You may want to finish the bio before trying to get the character approved and server-ready, though.
