Biography:

Kodran was born the product of two mercenary giants whom roamed from country to country on the western continent with a decent number of other mercenaries, very of which were giants or any other race other than human. As would be expected from being raised in such an environment, Kodran was destine to be a warrior like his parents long before he was to wield a sword. Most of his early childhood consisted of wandering around the mercenary's camp, speaking to various men and women whom traveled with the mercenaries. It was at the age of ten that Kodran's father began teaching the young giant the art of swordplay, at least what little he personally knew of formal training. Although Kodran caught on quick, his father was not a very experienced teacher, meaning Kodran would have to learn most lessons on the battlefield.

It wasn't long after Kodran's sword lessons that him and his parents had abandoned the war-band due to increasingly weakening numbers, hoping to find more profitable work on their own. Kodran lived the next six years wondering aimlessly with his parents as they went from nation to nation, accepting virtually any mercenary position in order to fill their pockets. During this six years period, Kodran was generally tasked with hunting animals for later meals whilst his parents were out working. It wasn't until Kodran was sixteen that his parent's nefarious line of work had finally caught up with them, in which only Kodran's wounded father had returned home from a recently accepted job. Over the course of the next few days, Kodran took care of his father, whom became increasingly more weak due to a poorly treated wound. Kodran's father passed away a few days later in a forest in Leoben, in which he took his father's grand mace and the few supplies left at their camp. Although there was little love between him and his parents, Kodran couldn't help but feel sick as he ventured out on his own for the first time in his life.

It was at the age of seventeen that Kodran was given his first taste of real combat, when himself and a few other sellswords were hired to clear a small camp of raiders whom resided near a small village in Leoben. Although unskilled in swordsmanship, Kodran proved to be a formidable opponent due to his sheer size and the ferocity of his swings. It was during this first battle that Kodran decided one of his best tools in combat would be the sheer size of his body, and he would use this to his advantage whenever possible.

Over the course of the next eight years, Kodran made a profitable living as a mercenary, roaming the western continent in search of work just as his mother and father did before him. It was at the age of twenty-five that Kodran ventured to Estavyr once more in search of work.

Skills:

Combat Prowess: Although lacking much formal training, Kodran has learned much of his skill on the battlefield, and has also learned to use his immense size and strength as a formidable weapon. He is a capable warrior and not a force to be taken lightly.

Ferocity: Kodran's ferocity in battle in something to be reckoned with. As stated above, Kodran has little formal training, but he will come at his enemies with intensity the likes of which many would never want to witness, and will not stop until his enemy is defeated, he is completely exhausted, or he is dead.

Survival: Due to the many years wandering with his parents, hunting down food, and his bodies overall highly resilient state, Kodran is capable of surviving off the land when needed.

Flaws:

Intelligence: Kodran is more known for his  strength than his intelligence. He is capable of surviving off the land or assessing his options his battle, but don't expect much else out of this giant.

No magical prowess: Due his race and overall intelligence, Kodran isn't even capable of casting even the smallest, most basic spell.

Quick to anger: Kodran is very easily angered, and as such will react violently if pushed to his patience, which is rather low to begin with.

Quote :
Deity: God of the Tundras

Weaponry: Iron-Forged Giant's grand mace (Insanely large by human standards [Roughly 7 Feet / 2.1 Meters] )
Kodran Weapon_select_grandmace-300x229

Apparel: Studded leather boot, pants, and vambraces. Leather Cloak. Iron-Forged Helmet

Miscellaneous: 20 Gold Coins. Giant's skinning knife (Single Edged. A little smaller than a human broadsword)

Err, ahem. Now for a serious review.

That aside. You appear to have goofed. There have been no warring giant parties for some time, their numbers having been culled in what is effectively a genocide. They are largely traders now, brutish ones, excelling in harsh journeys and unsettled ports.  This makes the introduction to your backstory a little... well, not very possible. Giants were hunted, and thus conformed, around the fact that they were going to be wiped out if they continued. I'm not sure a splinter band would so eagerly form.

If your parents were mercenaries, that would be one thing, and you might be able to keep the story largely intact, it would just require some basic editing.

As for being a massive brute? I suppose it works. Honing his strength and anger at the detriment of many others, I can see this being reasonable. He'll have his own difficulties, as will others, and we've already had characters approved with that point in mind- BUT, I have one adendum I would like to make.

A sword is a careful weapon, not a bludgeon. Careless swings impacting the edge would make the weapon require a lot of maintenance to stay functional - in short, not break. It might even, due to your size and fashion, not even last that long. I would recommend a bludgeon - a maul for a normal person being a longhammer for yourself would work nicely. If you wanted, -maybe- you could use a heavy lumber axe, but you'd need to have it treated regularly.

Take in my opinion, and I'd be willing to lend my own approval.

I believe you misread or misunderstood what I meant by 'mercenary war-bands'. I meant that they traveled with other mercenaries in a small contigent and worked together. I'll find another word to use in place of 'war-bands' because I can see why that can be misinterpreted.

Also, took your advice and make it a very large iron mace.
