Born to small peasant-class family living near the Avaera Woodlands of Aldinor, Claudia grew up hungry, uneducated, and dirt-poor. Not unlike most other people in the world, and like many in her position, she turned to less-than-legal means of income. In particular, that of poaching. Oft going into the Avaera for several days at a time; many times to come back empty-handed. Claudia credits much of what she learned of trapping and bowmanship from her mentor, (and ex-boyfriend) Liam Niels.

One day, while Claudia was still in her late teens, Liam and her had made camp in the Avaera. Things took an unfortunate turn when a local lord, enjoying a day of sport, stumbled upon their makeshift camp. Appalled by their blatant disrespect for the law, the lord ordered his guards to arrest the both of them. Whilst fleeing the scene, Liam snags his foot on a root and falls. Unable to right himself before the guards, in hot pursuit, caught him; and so, Liam was arrested, tried, and whipped unto death for poaching, as according to the law of the land.

Claudia, really, never made an attempt to save him, but knew now that the Avaera wouldn't be a secure place to make her living. And so, she packed up what she owned, and made her way west along the river, poaching along the way, and doing her best to avoid drawing suspicion to her load. This continued until one day she reached the capital of Aldinor.

Now, the only reason Evesar is even worth mentioning is because it is here where Claudia came upon a small band of men whose plan was to journey further west along the river, past the Aegis, to a small town known as 'Estavyr.' Claudia, being of course, a strong willed woman was denied entry to the party. Whose members unfortunately never got to make their journey. Because they were dead.

Deciding the make her way to Estavyr by her lonesome, she continues, until she reaches a small town, in the shadow of the Aegis, at whose edge she found a cur. Having killed boar not two days ago, she threw the mutt a cut and thus, gaining his loyalty, continued with the dog in tow.

On several occasion, the mutt had warned her of approaching beasts from the Savage Lands and is very likely the sole reason she survived the journey. Finally arriving at the frontier, a town called Estavyr. She set up shop, poaching in the style she did at Avaera, and selling her goods on a far more active black market. It was lucrative, and for a while Claudia lived a fairly comfortable life, until yesteryear when her dog, Prince, fell ill and cost her nigh all her savings for medicine.

Now, with scarce anything, she makes her way to the woodlands again to make her living, with her newly healed companion at her side.

Archery - Though not an amateur, nor too experienced, Claudia can hit targets in optimum conditions at a maximum thirty-five yards. Due to the nature of her bow, she has very little penetrating power.

Swordplay - While she has practiced a bit with the cinquedea, she's by no means an expert. She mainly uses it to gather cuts of game.

Survival - Claudia knows her way around the areas she chooses to poach and employs several tricks of the trade when choosing camp. She's also fairly nifty at finding edible flora.

Trapping - Though a lucky shot can often be a large profit, to keep herself fed, Claudia relies more heavily on traps, primarily snares.

I really like it, perfect use of a seldom explored part of the lore. A hunter is always good for diversity and the such, too.

Also you speak only one language, and I like that.

I'm not sold on nymphs, but personal bias aside, this character is going to get put through. Feel free to start RPing them.
