| With launch out of the way and our first day through I'd like everyone willing to share their thoughts to do so here. If you guys have any concerns, or want to comment on the server so far then please do so. This thread is for all constructive criticism, and hopefully I can get to fixing a few things that might be nagging everyone. | |

| We need a long haired fellow as a model, bearded if possible. kk ty
Now, in all seriousness. Good launch day, we socialized, met people, schmoozed, laughed, so we'll see how it goes from there.

| We need more people in PAC all the time. Also some female armor models would be sweet (I don't mean boob plate I mean armor with female bones so that it PAC's properly with female models). | |

| As far as armor, models, and PAC. I just reinstalled blender, got the source toolkit, and I'm going to try my hand at getting us some more content. Shouldn't be too hard, starting simple, and I'm mainly going to rip armor pieces and recompile them just as models for PAC. Breastplates, pads, bracers, all that kind of stuff.
After that I'll look into actually rigging entire models. I can skin already so I'll definitely be putting in some custom ones.

| -Server doesn't seem to remember who owns a door if the player switches characters. -Doors and props also disappear on server restart, even though that should be easy info to store serverside. -Proptrust also is saved to a character, not to a player. Makes for some frustrating times when I can spawn props as one character and can't as another.

I'll bring this all up with FNOX and see what he can do, I'll do a little research on the side too seeing as Nutscript has it's own wiki for that sort've thing.

| The admin inactivity has caused serious problems both in and out of server. There's not much that can be done about this right now, but I want to raise awareness of the issue. When the admins do return, there will be a lot of problems to work out, and a lot of piled-up work that has to get done. There might be anger if certain characters and RP are suddenly invalidated or altered by the return of the administration and rule-enforcement. The in-server economy is a complete shambles. It's virtually nonexistant, with people either having no money at all or pulling endless wealth from nowhere. If making a script-based system of money is out of the question, at the very least, the administration should take charge in creating opportunities for role-players to have something to do besides stand around or drink at the inn. The Adventurer's Guild could get started, we could start up the mines and build some events and scenarios based around that (monster infestations, worker revolts, and so on are just a few suggestions), and we could give the Boletum Quarantine more of a presence in-server (maybe prop-based mushrooms could appear from time to time requiring RP to remove?). The elf population. Normally this isn't the kind of thing I'd complain about, but when you're literally the only human among 7 or so elves, it starts to get a little annoying. Is there any way to encourage the creation of human characters without trampling on people's creativity? Also, I keep seeing elves that are ~20 years old or younger, which I think is too young for an elf to be on his or her own. From the lore: "An elf is considered an adult once they have seen their thirtieth year in the world, and their physical development reflects that." If you're going to make an elf, at least verify that you're doing it right. | |

In my experience, there really is no good way to go about establishing an in-game economy. Scripted currencies are unrealistic in that you'd also need to script hunger, thirst, rest, and other costs of living in order to keep it from being about hording money. Then it just becomes about going out and lolgrabbing things and selling them to buy weapons and whatnot, its an issue that plagues a large number of servers. Maybe we could create a sub-forum for merchant registers, logs of who's getting paid what, who bought this, how many things merchants have, how much they're spending, that sort of thing so we can keep a fair eye on the economy and confront kids if they're being bad. - Blue wrote:

To be honest, you did get on at a fairly poor time last night. Earlier humans made up well over half of the population. Also, I for one am guilty of playing an elf who is younger than 20 years old, but I'm not playing her off as an adult (or young adult for that matter), and she definitely isn't on her own, not ICly anyways.

| I'm going to answer the economy question tonight with a discussion thread, see what everyone thinks. I'm not entirely opposed to an in-game economy (it might be a welcome addition, and it's all the more to show off when we're attracting new members) but I want to discuss it with the community in hole. | |

You may want to create a character page for her that fills in the details, just to make sure everything checks out. I had more to say regarding the economy, but I'll wait until the thread and avoid cluttering this one.
